Clockin is a solution that can be used in many different ways. Developed in practice, it is very popular in many different industries - whether in trades, the construction industry or healthcare. It is so flexible that it offers the relevant range of functions for every area. One of these industries is the manufacturing industry with its large warehouses and major logistical challenges. We want to use a customer example to show how clockin can offer support here and make everyday life in production easier.

The challenge
Quadrat P is an interior designer in the cinema and Cell Phone Number Database catering sector and covers everything in this area from 3D visualization and the first draft to completion. This means that not only classic carpentry work is carried out here, but also welding, wiring and installation. Everything that is ultimately installed at the customer's premises is produced in-house.
Like many companies in the manufacturing industry, Quadrat P is currently facing many new challenges: There are many bottlenecks in the procurement of raw materials; supply chains and deadlines cannot be met and, together with inflation, prices are rising. Inefficient, bureaucratic processes can threaten a company's competitiveness in this situation.
Quadrat P has also had to struggle with such processes in the past. Benne Pier, one of the co-founders of Quadrat P and responsible for 3D visualization of projects, accounting and personnel management, explains how time recording worked before:
“ Up until now, we have always handled time recording in such a way that we recorded it digitally, with an app that didn't work smoothly and was also relatively confusing and poorly usable for the guys and girls who work here. In addition, you couldn't submit vacation requests in the app or book travel times separately. ”
But the biggest sticking point was the fact that it was not possible to book for individual projects . Although the working hours of individual employees were recorded and they could be paid accordingly, all working hours still had to be assigned to individual projects manually - a workload that cost an incredible amount of time and therefore money .
This has serious consequences for the company itself. Benne explains:
“ Overall, the poor user interface and the lack of options meant that employees lost a lot of time that we could and should have used much more efficiently. Because on the one hand, supply chains could not be maintained and on the other hand, time was wasted. That is of course the ultimate inefficiency. ”
While searching for a new, more user-friendly solution, Benne and his colleagues came across clockin. They were particularly impressed by the simplicity of the website and straightforward communication. After successfully registering for a test phase and making initial contact with clockin employees, the team quickly realized: "With clockin's support, we slipped into such patterns that we immediately realized that it actually runs automatically."

The guys and girls at Quadrat P have been using clockin for a year now. With a simple click, employees can clock in on their smartphones in the morning and clock out just as easily in the evening.
However, clockin has the greatest impact on project work. The relevant employee can easily clock in on a single project in order to record the working time for the customer separately. This not only makes it easier to issue invoices afterwards, but also allows resources to be better planned in advance.
The ability to record travel times within projects also reduces the amount of bureaucratic work involved. What previously had to be laboriously recorded in folders and then transferred manually is now recorded separately by clockin with just a few clicks.
